Change different soundfont channel sound

i want the ability to change the default soundfont channel sound to whatever we want. For example, if i have an orchestra soundfont that has 8 different instruments ( oboe, violin, flute, different brass instruments, etc) and the oboe was the default sound, it will only let me use the oboe and nothing else, so i think you should add a button to customize what that/those instrument(s) is/are. For example, say i wanted to make all notes sound like a violin, or assign an oboe to one set of notes of my choosing and a flute to another set of notes of my choosing and have an option to assign different sounds to different tracks or also make everything i said before but with completely separate soundfont files. and with the endless amount of soundfonts on the internet, there are virtually endless possibilities for your musical creations. I think that would be perfect
