Make it easier to observe changes to settings

Just another thought I had, is that it would be nice if there was a keyboard shortcut to getting out of the UI, then right back into where you were. For example, when I'm changing particle settings, it can be a little hard to see the finer nuances of the changes I'm making because of the opacity of the user interface overlay. If there was an easy way to quickly remove the UI, or move it to the side so that I can see how the video looks more easily, and then just as quickly go back into the UI to tweak settings some more, that would be awesome.
