So I built a diy led strip which synchronizes while I'm playing, however the midi output from the piano goes to the pi instead of the PC and its very troublesome to extract saved midi files from the pi, Is it possible to make the see music as a brige to record midi track from piano and to output the same midi interface to the pi via some cable connection? I actually have this setup at the moment. So my flow is this, piano -> pc -> cantabile -> loopmidi -> pianoteq -> Sevillasofts midi usb-usb -> rasperry pi -> led strip. Cantabile divides the midi input to loopmidi and sevillasoft cable, loopmidi is input for pianoteq ( any other program that uses midi signals work), rasperry is connected to pc with the sevillasoft cable. This is the best way I have managed to get it working. Only negative is you need to buy the cable or some other midi interface. This is the cheapest option though (MIDI USB-USB MIDI USB to USB [MIDI USB-USB] - €33.15 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce (compasflamenco.com))
