Hi, i was pleased to see you fixed the render-order issue so quickly, and since it wasn't really a feature i figured i would submit a two needed features:
1: more color flexibility
it would be great to have the option to be able to select a greater variety of colors than the color wheel. that is: a full range of possible colors including options for transparency. as you can see in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dakIVT0GwI i have simulated a transparancy effect by rendering two tracks separately and then over-laying them in sony vegas. It works a bit, but its slightly messy. it would be so much better to have been able to select a more transparent color for the piano to make the cello stand out more. including, perhaps, a choice of texture per channel. however, i'm not familiar with the inner workings of the software, and i know how difficult some seemingly simple things can be to implement, and how simple some seemingly difficult things to implement are.
2: always on top
it would be great to be able to select one channel to be always rendered on top of other notes. if this were a feature, then i would be able to select channel 1 (cello) and say "please always draw that channel on top of the others, so it's always visible". perhaps this could even be expanded with only slight changes to the architecture into a full 'priority system' where the draw-order could be specified in an advanced options menu.
those are my suggestions.
