2.0.x problem

hi Admin, I just sent the midi file.

For the light, I’m wondering if i can make it Like Kassias‘s Video which the light looks like real led light On hands. I’m not sure it’s a real led strip or not because in some of her performance the light is changing. I don’t think it’s programmed because its too hard to sync with the performance so I think it’s after effects. I’m not quite sure how to edit my own keyboard video together with the SeeMusic to make the color of the light still happening but not showing the keyboard from SeeMusic which will make the hand transparent when overlaying.

the hand is transparent due to overlay. But I still want to keep the key light. What should I do :/

@Sijia Zheng For the Lights - for the moment, the best thing to do would probably be to:

- Turn up your Video Opacity to 100%, so that it's completely covering the app keyboard and not transparent.

- Turn off the "Classic Shadows" in the Light Settings, and use the 3D and Classic Lights instead.

Ultimately, if you want your video to look just like Kassia or Rousseau, you would need to use an actual LED light strip. (The app will also still eliminate an enormous amount of the work and rendering time needed to make these videos).

@visualmusicdesign I was shocked by how realistic Rousseau's "effects" were and likely LED strips explained it. BTW, I am a data scientist and have done some work in computer vision. Looking at probably hours of videos with real lighting/shadow effects, I think it is possible to build a deep learning model from these clips to automatically render lighting effects on hands. The key here is to get training data set, which is comprised of pictures of a hand at the same position both with and without lights, so the machine learning model learns how to paint light on hand pictures. To get these picture pairs, one can simply take the frames right before and after a key stroke or a key release, where the light was the switched but the hand remained (roughly) at the same position.

The training can be a slow process that takes hours to days, but once the model is trained, rendering it should be a relatively quick task, probably near video frame rate if run on GPU.
