9:16 4k render is large

I just rendered a 1 minute video:

9:16

Quality = Best

Frame rate = 30

Why is the file size for this 3 GB? Isn't that a little too much?

The only option available here is .mov

Please see attached. It doesn't seem like the format can be changed in the settings?

I've also tried with High Quality which produces a file just as large as Best

Change the Video Codec back to H.264.

The 4444 Codec is used for Transparency - it is Apple's highest quality video codec and the file sizes are extremely large.
