I waited a full 8 hours for it to finish rendering in 4k only for it to crash at the end and now it won't allow me to render at any quality or even length of time

First, I would definitely suggest rendering out a small part of the video first, to make sure that the app is functioning correctly in general on your computer. You can render only a part of the video by dragging the handles on either end in Render Settings... If the 4K renders are taking that long, I would also recommend rendering out first at a lower quality, 720p - Medium setting, to make sure things are working, before waiting a long time.
For the crashes, please send over the log after the app crashes, which is located at C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Visual Music Design\SeeMusic\Player.log
