My app keeps crashing a few seconds after I opened it since I updated it to 5.3.7. I have used it on my laptop since a year ago but this problem just happened today.

This is very strange - not sure what could be causing this.
Do you have a custom soundfont loaded?
Can you send a screenshot of the MIDI Settings window? You can access the MIDI Settings window from the Media Settings window
Here are links to the 3 most recent versions of the app - could you possibly try installing the three different versions, and let me know if they all crash, or if it's truly only Version 5.3.7 that has the crash for you?
