Audio is not being recorded with Quicktime

Hi. I've imported a mid and an audio file to create a piece. I'm using Quicktime to record the screen however, when it's done recording, there's no audio. During recording, there is audio, so I don't understand why there's no audio when it's recorded with Quicktime. Can you advise? Thank you.
