Can I change the key? I have a midi file in D and I would like to import change the key to C and export as a midi file.
Thanks
Wade

Hi,
I am having trouble keeping the changes. I perform the shift but when I play the "transformed" piece it sounds the same. Clearly I am not saving the changes. Do I need to use the "Track" settings?
Thanks and sorry for the repeated questions,
Wade

No worries - this is tricky stuff. And the MIDI editor is still a relatively new feature and there could still be a bug somewhere.
Please take a look at the Media Settings window (third button from top left of main screen).
Is there only a MIDI file loaded, or do you also have an audio or video file loaded?
Is the blue waveform icon next the MIDI file the only waveform icon that is on and blue?

There is only a MIDI file, no audio or video.
I will try again

Hi,
I give up. I was so excited about your app. It is exactly what I need. But I cannot get it to work.

Shifting the notes up or down the correct number of pitches in the MIDI editor would be the current way to achieve this.
Zoom out to select all the notes in the piece, then drag to shift them up or down the number of pitches you need.
There is an export button to export the MIDI at the far right of the MIDI Editor.

I can do it with the track and shifting by hand. But is there a better way to do it?
