There are 2 related issues with the colour wheel in Mac. I'm using a Late 2013 MacBook Pro.
1. Clicking on the pointer in the colour wheel causes the pointer to jump. In the video provided below, you can see the mouse cursor clicking directly on the pointer, however, the pointer automatically moves up each time.
2. Clicking on the colour wheel triggers the notes in the background to play. In the video provided below, you can see the notes flickering when moving the pointer around in the colour wheel. The screen recording didn't record audio otherwise you would also be able to hear the notes. The notes should change colour when using the colour wheel without them being triggered to play.
Interesting. Your method resolved the issue. I will just go full screen through the application. Thanks for the suggestion!
Ok, good to know - still, even when I try making it full screen using that icon, it still works perfectly for me - very strange.
One thing to try would be to use the Resolution control in Advanced Settings to make SeeMusic full screen, instead of the Mac native zoom button - that could potentially fix the issue.
I did some more testing. The jumping pointer issue appears to only happen when the application is in full screen mode (i.e. click the green circle icon at the top left-hand corner of the application). It works fine if the application is not in full screen mode so I'm able to work around it.
The issue of the notes playing when you click will be solved in the next update...
For the pointer jumping around - I'm not able to replicate that at all - it seems to be working perfectly. I can see from the video that there's an issue on your device - but unless I can replicate on one of my devices, it's impossible for me to fix it. It could theoretically be an issue with your laptop... in any case, hopefully this would be an issue you can work with? I'll also wait and see if there are any future user reports about this issue.
