Custom songs gone when on different computer

I have an account on my SeeMusic on my Mac (let's call it Mac1). Now I have another Mac (let's call it Mac2) in my house that we got SeeMusic with, and I logged in to the same account. It said 'Login successful'. I look for my songs on Mac2, and they are not there. I really need them to get onto Mac2, because Mac1 is really slow, and can't render (when I click render, it stays at 0% for hours, and when I click cancel, the app closes...) my song, and I need it to get to Mac2, which is a way faster computer.

I understand that - I'm trying to help you get it over to the new one.

You need to export, and then import BOTH:

- The Save File

- The MIDI Files for EACH PIECE

The Export File for Save Files is in Save Files / Pieces, under the Save Files selection table.

The Export MIDI / Audio / Video Button is in the Player tab, next to the MIDI / Audio / Video filenames.

You always have to have MIDI data to have a visualization in the app.

I thought you were just trying to copy your data between computers?

If that's the case, you also need to export and import the MIDI files for each piece using the Player tab.

I'm trying to have my same pieces on a different computer, but the original one is old, and it doesn't allow me to render (it just says 0% forever), so I am trying to switch to a newer one, and get my pieces on that.

The files are stored locally on each computer. SeeMusic doesn't have a cloud service to store your files.

You can use the Export Buttons inside the app to export Save Files and MIDI / Audio / Video, and then email or otherwise copy them over to your other computer, then use the Import Button on that computer to add to the app.

The Export File for Save Files is in Save Files / Pieces, under the Save Files selection table.

The Export MIDI / Audio / Video Button is in the Player tab, next to the MIDI / Audio / Video filenames.

Please understand that I am one person, providing all of the support and updates for the app, so getting back to you within 2 days is actually pretty quick.

I'm sorry about that. It was just that before, I saw a few people that you responded in a few hours with, so I was wondering. Sorry if it came off rudely. I really admire the work you are doing, and all the support you have given with your app. Thank you so much for that!

So I tried to do this, and when I open it up on the other computer, it opens, and it says the name of the song, but I can't play the song, and it shows that the song is 0:00 long. I checked in the rendering area, and it says there are 0:00 of the song, even though it is a 4:00 minute on my original Mac.

@Swaraag Sistla No worries.

Please make sure you've imported both the Save File and the actual MIDI File, and that the imported MIDI File still has the same name - otherwise the app won't be able to load the MIDI data, and the length of track will read 0:00.

You can also try clicking the MIDI file name in Player Settings, and reselecting the MIDI file from the list of MIDI files in your library.

@visualmusicdesign So I didn't import a MIDI file onto that one yet, because I couldn't find a good audio to MIDI converter that doesn't cost hundreds of dollars, so will this not work if I don't have a MIDI file on the file?

Are you talking about the MIDI as one that I would import, or like the piano keyboard in the background that when a note is clicked, it puts a light up?
