During rendering, background image cut short

I have my video background to change around every 30 seconds. Before rendering, it changes at the proper time. During and after the render process, the time is cut down to like every 15 seconds, so I end up with no background for the last half of the video. It just randomly started doing this and I am quite confused why it would work fine before rendering and yet be completely off afterwards
