Hello ! I would like to export my SeeMusic pieces from my iPad / iPhone to my Mac, is it possible ? When i have checked the SeeMusic files, i see many little cache files, and i see the "export" button on the left for "New Pieces" but not for mine, or i am missing something ?
Thanks in advance,
Tom
Try turning off Saber and Texture as well
perfect yes thank you i have cleaned it up ! I will be more careful next time
You probably mistakenly clicked "Saber" when importing a video, and it assigned it to the Saber
oh it seems to be linked to the saber, when i turn off saber it goes away
Open Effect Settings (third button from top left of main screen)
Turn off Background using the switch at bottom right of that window
mmh i am not sure that i had the background video loaded but it's possible, i have tried to assign a video to the piece and it's working fine, but i still have this video behind and i can't drag it / touch it or anything...
1. Do you or did you have a Background video loaded?
2. Try assigning a video file to the piece
Alright thanks it's what i wanted ! However i am facing weird bugs on MacOS when importing the video :
I did as you said all "Store" to import files. Then when i have tried to select the MIDI file, it started to show this video (mine actually but weird) and i can't find a way to remove it.
Is there a way to clear the cache or something ? Thanks for your help
That button will only export the settings data for the pieces - not the actual MIDI, Audio and Video files.
If you're trying to transfer those files as well, you need to export the media files from the Media Settings window for each piece, then reimport them on the other device.
As long as the filenames are the same, the imported Piece settings files will retain the links and information for the media files on the new device. You can just choose "Store" when you import the media files, and the imported Piece file should automatically relink to the media files once they are in the app's library.
Thanks for the quick reply, however when i have imported the files on my Mac, there is no audio nor video. The duration is 0:00, it's like the videos and audios were not exported :/
Here is the Export Save File button - each Save File will contain all the pieces inside it.
