Hello,
I'm hard at work developing Version 2.0 of SeeMusic.
There isn't a way for SeeMusic to automatically update on Windows, and this likely still won't be possible in the future.
I'm not sure what you mean when you say "way for midi to recognize pedal." The Sustain Pedal should already be holding notes in the MIDI synth correctly - if there's an issue there, please make a new post with the MIDI file, and fully and specifically explain the issue you're having.
