I am trying this out to see if it will work to record videos as I progress with piano lessons over time. My first basic piece is "chopsticks" and now I'm beginning lessons. I recorded myself playing chopsticks with an overhead web cam. I recorded audio both in my Yamaha P515 (midi files), as well as to my Zoom F6 audio recorder (wav files).
When I import the video recording into SeeMusic and try to align the virtual keyboard with my video, even when I try repositioning, re-scaling, and adjusting distortion on my video, I can't get them to line up. In fact, oddly, on the left of the piano, my keys are just to the right of the virtual keys, then, moving to the right 25% of the way, the keys align, then moving tot he right, my keys show up on the left side, but then further to the right, they align again somehow instead of continuing to move further to the left of the keys. And then, as you look further along the piano, you'll see my keys are moving to the right-side of the virtual keyboard keys like they were at the far left side.
Maybe I'm recording my piano wrong to get these to align? How do most people record? I'm really confused.
If I can get it to work, I'll definitely pay for the upgrade; but I don't want to purchase it if I can't get it to work.
System Information:
I'm running Windows 10 on a home build computer hosting 12-cores at 3.47 GHz, 24 GB of ram, multiple SSD drives, and an Nvidia GTX 780 video card with 3 GB of memory.

Great! Glad to hear its working well for you. Thank you for supporting SeeMusic
I tried what you said and you were right: it looks much better once it renders with everything! Thank you! I just purchased the first few months. Looking forward to using it!
I know that it seems frustrating not to be able to align it absolutely 100% - but I promise, once you increase the Video Opacity to 100% and replace the in app keyboard with your video footage, the amount of alignment you already have should be plenty sufficient for the falling notes to look fully aligned.
All keyboards are slightly different and there's just no way to provide an in-app keyboard that perfectly matches all possible keyboards, nor is complete alignment with the in-app keyboard necessary to make a perfect-looking video.
My recommendation would be to make sure that the middle of the keyboard is perfectly aligned, and worry less about the extremes of the keyboard.
