The issue would be with the Codec that's used - I'd recommend re-encoding the file as H.264 - that should solve the problem.

I'll be replacing the built-in Video Player framework currently used by the app with the more powerful and flexible AVPro Video framework soon. I'm waiting for Version 2.0 of that framework to be fully ready - it is currently still in Beta.
