In December 2023, SeeMusic was updated to use the newer version of a 3rd party framework for the Camera Input, which is generally much more powerful and includes Video Recording.
There could be some change in that third party framework that's created a compatibility issue with the Blackmagic device... unfortunately I have very little to no control over that, and without either myself or the framework developer having the Blackmagic device on hand, there's no way for me test this....
In addition, there remains a possibility that the issue is with the Blackmagic MacOS driver, or something else that's happening in the way MacOS is communicating with the Blackmagic device.
It could also be an issue not even with the updated third party framework - but rather with the new M2 Max Macbook Pro and the Black Magic device.
I would make sure that FaceTime and Zoom are completely shut down, and RESTART your computer without reopening those apps. Make sure that no other app has access to the Blackmagic camera before you open SeeMusic. Then, reopen SeeMusic and BEFORE turning on the camera, select the Blackmagic device in the Input list. Then, turn on the camera.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Blackmagic device driver, if you haven't done so already.
