I downloaded SeeMusic tonight and the "import file" button doesn't appear to do anything. No window pops up. I have restarted the computer and tried opening/closing the app. Thank you for the help.

I am so pleased with the latest update (4.0.10)! It's running so smoothly on my M1 Mac and I'm very happy since I plan to make plenty of new videos :)
The reason is probably that the build is an Intel build, and is running using Rosetta on your M1 processor, which will impact the performance. There isn't anything I can do about this until the developers of the frameworks fully update their frameworks to make them compatible natively with the M1 processor.
This is just one of the downsides of being a very early adopter of new hardware like the M1.
Hi,
While the latest update (4.0.8) fixed the import issue for me, there is a lot of lag when I try to sync the video with MIDI. Specifically, the MIDI is close to hitting the keys but pauses for 10 sec. or so, and the video skips a few seconds (like when it starts, it doesn't start at the beginning and the hands are already on the keys). I'm wondering if this is just a performance issue for the app, because I restarted my computer (macOS Big Sur 2020 M1) and still have lots of space so I don't think it's my computer. Sorry about this, I know you've been quite busy lately! :) This is my a really really great program btw, I use it for my YouTube channel and usually don't have any tech issues.
Hello ! Thanks indeed the import is working but the file (.seemusic extension) can't be read, the duration is always 0 even if present in the list :( I am not able to play my reccords I have sent it from an iPhone and import it on MacOS Big Sur 11.3.1 (using the 4.0.8)
Yes, the import is working now! Thank you for the update :)
Hey guys,
Just posted Version 3.0.8 on the App Store with a different solution - could you please give a try on your M1 when you have a chance and let me know if it works?
Sorry for the issue - this is a very difficult thing to test because of how rare the M1 chip still is.
same problem facing
same problem !!!!!
@visualmusicdesign Version 4.0.7 - Import buttons and render button don't still work on M1 Mac :(
Yes, I'm sure it is 4.0.7. Importing files before the main update was working, the main update from earlier today did not allow, and the most recent update to fix this glitch I still can't import...it is also an M1 Mac.
Hmm I don't think the update is working either, I have been trying to import but it still doesn't let me...
Thanks for letting me know!
I've uploaded Version 4.0.7 and it should fix these issues.
Could take 12 - 24 hours for Apple to review and the update to go live on the App Store.
same problem!
I have the same problem. Import file button and Render button don't work. SeeMusic 4.0.5 worked but this version is bugged. I tried reinstall program but it didn't help. You can add files manually to folder with program but you can't still render your project. Please fix it quickly. Can you share 4.0.5 version temporarily?
