when I try and add a MIDI file, one from my piano or a downloaded one, the app says that the file type is not supported, can you please help me with this

Are you using the Import File button on the home screen? Using the wrong Import button could cause that issue.
This could also be caused by the files not having the correct extension - the extension for the file needs to be ".mid"

I have checked and I used the import button from the home screen and the midi file extension is .mid
I have sent you an email with the files, if you can check them then that would be great.
