Pedaling Problems white background

I have been having two problems. 1. I want to be able to use the pedaling on my digital piano rather than the app automatically always having it down. 2. When I launch the app, it is a white background rather than a black one. Its a small issue but I would like to know how to change that. Great app overall though! Very impressed.

The 1.16 Update was posted last night around 1 AM PT... so you actually might still not have gotten it?

If you are absolutely, definitely running Version 1.16 - can you describe the problem you're experiencing in detail?
