That could definitely be the case. Thanks very much for sharing your advice! I'll try to see if there's a fix I can provide, but I'd recommend making sure that other MIDI apps aren't open as a workaround for now.

I had this same problem, apparently happens if other program is using your midi device. For example I had cantabile opened when I started seemusic and had that same error.I think these are the error lines from the log file

This isn't a URL link - this is a location on your computer where the Log file is stored. You'll need to use Windows Explorer to enter this address and find the file.

After replicating the crash inside the app, could you please upload the SeeMusic Log file?
The Log file is located at:
C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Visual Music Design\SeeMusic\Player.log
