I watched the tutorial about how to make a piano video with particles but I'm wondering how you record the midi and the video files? Is there a way to do this simultaneously? I want to do this for a youtube video but also for a live performance where you can see my hands on the keys while the particles are going off.
Or do you have to do them separately and match them up?Â
I've tried aligning my keyboard video with the keyboard on screen, but when I recorded, I only got the midi file despite the camera being on.
Am I doing something wrong or what is that process (of recording video and midi) before creating the actual particle video?
Ahhhhhh got it. Ok thank you!
If you're doing a live show, you won't be using MIDI or Video files - you'll be using your live Keyboard and the Live Camera View.
If you just want the app to playback an existing performance, then you would import the Video file and and the MIDI file, sync them, then press play.
I think the confusion then is how come there is a video option in see music?
Got it, thanks. So, if I wanted to do a live show online, there wouldn't be a way to align the video and see music midi together huh?
No - you would always be recording video and MIDI using different devices, then syncing in SeeMusic.
You can record MIDI and Audio in SeeMusic.
You would record Video with a camera.
Gotcha, so what I use to record video should also be recording midi at the same time, correct? Any suggestions on what software can do this?
SeeMusic does not record video. You will need to record your video outside the app, import to the app, and sync with the MIDI.
Thank you for using SeeMusic!
