I am using M1 big suf. I found the SeeMusic 4.0 not allow to import any files. The import button does not bring up a new windows for me to select file to import.

A fix has been submitted on all platforms for the audio issue.
Version 4.0.2 should be up on the App Store in the next 24-48 hours.

I did several experiments. But it doesn't make any sound. MIDI files, video files, and sample sounds can't be heard either.

Yeah, true. v4.0.1 doesn't make any sound at M1 Big Sur OS but it fixed import issue.

Please provide more precise details on what you mean by “no sound”
Are these audio/video files you loaded in?
Or is this sound generated by the MIDI you imported?

Also seeing 'no sound' with M1 Big Sur 11.2.3 (was working fine in 3.x). 4.0.1 has no sound for playback, even sample files or previously saved files. I see them "playing" but cannot hear them.

I have downloaded version 4.1 and I can load files. This problem has been solved. Thank you! But this time there is no sound, I can't hear any sound. Please check this problem. (For reference, the file could not be loaded in version 4.0, but it sounded fine.)

SeeMusic 4.0.1 is now available on the Mac App Store and should fix this issue. Please give it a try when you have a chance and let me know if it has fixed this issue for you?

Did a previous version work for you on this computer?
Unfortunately I don't have an M1 Mac to test on .... I'm testing on my Intel Big Sur Mac right now, and the import button seems to be working fine.
