I know for sure that it’s not the soundfont because i’ve done this same thing before. I think it just started happening recently? I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Also if 2 notes overlap like a shorter note overlaps with a longer note, it stops the longer note. Unrelated but that’s another issue i’ve been having
