Slight input delay

Question

Hi,

I want to use See Music as a live performance tool with a great visualizer.

However whenever i hit a note on my Piano the sound in See Music is played maybe half a second after I hit it which makes playing with the sound of the app impossible since it is very irritating. I already tried to turn off all of the visual effects but that isnt doing anything to the delay.

I am using a Yamaha P45-b with a 1.5m type 2 USB cable to connect it with my pc.

Does anyone know if I can fix this and if so... how?

Have you checked to make sure the Live MIDI Delay feature is turned off in MIDI Settings?  Please also try turning it on and then off.

I just reinstalled the app and the issue was that i was using a very old version of See Music. But i still get a slight delay even with the live midi delay on/off so I guess it is a hardware problem?
