Smoke Color Gone?

Hello,

My pieces used to have smoke as the same color as the notes, but now it appears the smoke is just white/colorless. Why might this be?

I am using version 5.5

OS is macOS Ventura Version 13.2.1

Macbook Pro 13 inch, M2, 2022

I am using an external display - DELL U2419H Display 24 inch 1920x1080

Ok, thanks! I tried this, but is still appearing colorless for me. Usually it looks like the green screenshot below. Any other ideas?

The Bloom feature could be causing it to increase in brightness to White. Try disabling the Glow effect in Effect Settings.
You don't have a Particle Brightness control in the Particle Settings window do you?

Got it! You nailed it, there was a particle brightness control that I didn't capture in my screenshots. It was cranked all the way to 2. I brought it back to 1 and problem solved. Thank you!
