Sustain while there shouldn't be any sustain?

I imported a midi file that I exported from Musescore 3. the beginning of the piece is supposed to have staccato's and not have sustain at all... When I play the midi file in SeeMusic however, it does play as sustain! This makes it sound not very good. I hope there's a fix for this!

It's not the fault of Musescore or the MIDI file, because when I play it in Synthesia it plays fine how it should be! How do I fix this?

Thanks for letting me know - I'll try to add a fix for this in the next update.

In the meantime, you can easily fix this issue by adding a Sustain event at the beginning of the file that sets the sustain to off - here it is fixed:

How do I do this in Musescore? when I enter a pedal line, and then look at it using the inspector (f8), I can't see anything to disable the pedal.
