Hello,
I play the piece with my digital piano and record it through Logic Pro, While I record the video of it at the same time using my iPhone. Then I import the video into Logic, I do some adjustments to the Midi data I recorded and synch it with the video, then I add some effects to the piano line and export it as 2 seperate files. A 16/44100 Wav. file, and a standard midi one both with the same starting points as the video file I've exported.
Unfortunately, when I import them into the See Music, all the synchronised data will be lost and It takes hours to re synch them again which is pretty frustrating! I was wondering:
1- What causes this problem? (I tried recording both 24 and 30 frames for video recording)
2-Why shouldn't we have a Timeline window like any other DAW or video editing softwares to have a better control over synching?
I'd really like to keep my premium account with See Music and use it, as it's a nice app but it's really annoying to go through all the synching process from the scratch! In my final video I had to export everything manually From See Music into the Final Cut Pro and build all the effects again, which took about 5 hours of my time.
You can check my Video here as well:
Looking forward to hear from you,
Regards
Mehrad
Hi,
It's 4.0.3
Thanks
Please confirm what version exactly you are using - what version does it say on the welcome screen when you open the app?
Thank you
Hi,
I'm using the latest version of the SeeMusic on a Mac Mini 2018 ( Quad-Core Intel Core i3- 3.6 GHz, 8 Gb of Ram). OS version: 10.15.7 Catalina
You can download the media files from the link below:

Thanks,

Are you using Version 4.0.3?
There were bugs in Versions 4.0 and 4.0.1 that could cause some of these issues. Please make sure you are fully updated.
To help further, I would need:
1. Tell me the Platform and Device in your post
( MacOS 10.14, MacBook Pro 3.1 GHz, 16 GB RAM )
2. Upload the Original Media Files used for your render to your post, including MIDI, Audio and Video.
If you prefer, you can email these to visualmusicdesign@gmail.com.
Hi, thanks for the prompt reply.
I can understand how hard it is for one person to manage it all :)
My problem occurs when I import everything into See Music, after syncing them into the Logic! Video and midi files go out of syncing and when I try to fix, either the video blinks, or the midi doesn't play, etc. So I can't find out how much delay do the files have in order to fix them. If I import an Audio file then the process will get even more complicated. My first question is why do the files go out of syncing, even when I synched them in Logic and exported them with the same length from start to the end??
Second question is what way so you recommend to calculate the delay between video and midi files to fix them?
And lastly, how much does it cost to add a time line to this app?
Thanks,
Mehrad
If you're able to eventually sync the files, nothing is necessarily "going wrong". Can you clarify exactly what kind of work you have to do to get it to sync?
I understand that adding a timeline feature would be useful, and this could be something that eventually happens if / when SeeMusic has a larger development team. For the time being, the app is completely developed by one person, me, and that would be beyond what I am capable of developing in the immediate future.
