I've tried downloading the file attached to this post and importing it a number of ways, and I can't replicate this problem at all...
I understand that it's a serious issue and I'd really like to get it fixed today. Can you please help by providing a little more info?
1. What platform is this happening on? (Mac, Windows, iOS, Android)
2. If on Mac or Windows, can you please replicate the issue, then close the app and send the Log file? You can either attach the log file to this post as a .zip, or email to visualmusicdesign@gmail.com
Windows
C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Visual Music Design\SeeMusic\Player.log
(This folder might be hidden - you might need to Show Hidden Files in the View options in Windows Explorer)
Mac
The Log file on MacOS is located at:
~/Library/Containers/com.VisualMusicDesign.SeeMusicUnity/Data/Library/Logs/Visual Music Design/SeeMusic/Player.log
To easily get to this folder, use the GO menu at the top of the Finder, and select GO TO FOLDER, and copy that address into it.
3. If at all possible, could you also send a video screen capture of you trying to import the file in the app and it crashing? Can you also show what your Piece Settings window looks like before you attempt the import?
Thank you!!
Got it figured out. Instead of selecting "create piece" during the upload MIDI file process, first create a piece by clicking on the top left icon (1-2-3 MENU) and create a new piece there. Worked for me. Good luck
Same here. Worked fine 2-3 days ago. Now anytime I attempt to upload either a midi, audio, or video file it crashes. Same when you click "create piece". WTF seemusic?! Get it together
