I renewed my subscription recently because I took a short break (Around 3 months) from making videos and now the program does not work when connected to my MIDI cable even after restarting the program, however, it was working great up to a few months ago, My laptop is up to date (Windows 10) and my "SeeMusic" Version is (4.2.1), I also have 8gb of RAM, I tried the program on another laptop and I had the same issue as well. In one of the pictures below you can see that my piano keyboard shows up under audio input and not midi input and Seeing as I plan to keep paying the subscription fee I'd love it if you could resolve the problem.

Open up Input Settings, and take a look to see what is selected in "MIDI Input Plugin".
- Try the other option
Ok thank you, the file is currently downloading but I forgot to mention another problem earlier. When my keyboard is not connected with the MIDI cable, The SeeMusic program opens just fine but if I close out the program and connect the cable then reopen the program the SeeMusic program stays on the startup screen until It says "Not Responding" as shown below. I'm not sure if this has any connection with why the input won't show up when i connect the cable while in the program but I've been having this problem since the last version I used which was 3.9.1. Also I tried the midi with another program and it worked fine. I'll let you know if the older version works when it finishes downloading.
Hello,
I fully understand that it seems that the issue right now is the app update. However, absolutely nothing has changed with regard to the MIDI Input feature in over a year. It is very, very likely that the issue has to do with the hardware connection between your keyboard and the computer.
- Can you see if the keyboard is visible by other MIDI apps on your computer?
- Here is a link to a relatively old version of the app. If the keyboard still isn't visible in the old version, then the issue is not with a change in the app, but rather with the physical keyboard, or the way it is connected to the computer

I wish I could help out more easily with this, but there likely is not much I can do to assist with this particular issue!
