Interesting - that's good to know... I'll still do some testing to make sure that everything's working right!
It can be very difficult to find a good soundfont. If you want to have the best possible sound, you will probably need to use Logic X or a different app to use a commercial piano sound plugin. SeeMusic will never be able to provide that level of MIDI Synth sound inside the app - the MIDI Synth in the app is a convenient, basic option.
Dear Peter, I updated on 1.14 some minutes ago and now it works. But the insert grand-piano sounds better than the Fazioli Grand.
The email is on the way. Your piano sound is quite different from what I find in your app. What do you use?
Is there any way you could share the .sf2 file that you're unable to import with me? That way I can test it on my end.
You can email a link to visualmusicdesign@gmail.com
Thank you!
Peter
Thank you, Peter, but nor I can´t delet the Native Piano, neither I can import a .sf2 file like the Fazioli-Grand-Piano.sf2. This does´nt work.
Hi Eddy, I thought I actually had removed the "Native Piano Sound"... that shouldn't be there. Thanks for pointing it out - I will take that out.
You can absolutely import .sf2 soundfonts into the app and use them! Just click MIDI Sound in Advanced Settings and click Import File to add your soundfont to the app.
The app may eventually be able to handle some other soundfont types as well.
Just to be clear, the app now correctly renders your files with sound once you have a good soundfont selected?
Hi Peter, the Native Piano Sound does not work. That´s all. The Grand Piano works fine. By the way, is there any chance to import sounds from pianoteq or any native instruments pianos? And what does "Native Piano Sound" really mean? Thank you for supporting me. Love your app and your embracing pianoskills. Best from germany to you, Eddy
Now here the screenshot:
The Logfile comes per email. Thank you.
Just night-working without my mac. I will send the files on sunday afternoon. Thank you.
In addition to the Log file, could you please also send a screenshot of the Visual Settings Windows?
Thank you!
After trying to render with sound (you can do just a short test render of 10 sec), could you please quit the app and send the log file?
The Log file on Mac is located at: ~/Library/Containers/com.VisualMusicDesign.SeeMusicUnity/Data/Library/Logs/Visual Music Design/SeeMusic/Player.log
To easily get to this folder, use the GO menu at the top of the Finder, and select GO TO FOLDER, and copy that address into it.
If you have any issues uploading the file to the website, you can email it to visualmusicdesign@gmail.com
Thank you!
The upgrade on version 1.13 works well. But nevertheless there is no sound. Here the screenshot, you asked for:
Thanks a lot for your quik response.
This issue should hopefully have been fixed in the update that was posted yesterday.
- Could you double check that your App Store is providing you with Version 1.13, and that you have updated to Version 1.13?
- If there's still no sound in the video after updating, please use the Screenshot app to send a screenshot of the Player Window inside the app.
Thank you!
